I love the beauty of winter weddings! The coldness of the air, beautiful golden light and amazing countryside covered with frost, the bride and groom’s love, the joy and celebration full of warm atmosphere. I just loved it and shooting as a second photographer gives me that flexibility to capture those meaningful moments of the day and complete the story.
Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding was one of those early morning weddings, as the ceremony started at 10.30 am. in a beautiful St Mary Oatlands Church, Weybridge. As the wedding was just after Christmas all the festive decorations brought magical feel to the winter wedding . The warmth and relaxed character of it you could feel in the air.
After the ceremony we all headed over to the wedding reception. Cain Manor in Farnham was a perfect choice for winter wedding. A rustic style country house surrounded by woodland and the Surrey Hills bring romance and enchanted mood to it. Sara looked amazing in her two-piece bridal top and skirt from Needle and Thread and her floral adornment was excellent choice to emphasize the winter wedding look.
Sarah and Jonathan wished that the day would be warm, cosy and relaxing and I couldn’t describe more how the day passed through. There was everything perfect about this wedding day! The celebration, joy, love, happiness and tears. The speeches from the heart , caring family and friends and beautiful moments they will cherish forever.
I had a lovely time shooting for Nikki van der Molen Photography and documenting Sarah and Jonathan’s wedding. I’m really happy that pictures from this wedding were published on Want That Wedding as well as Whimsical Wonderland Weddings blogs.
