MAGICAL CHRISTMAS LIGHTS PHOTO SHOOT IN LONDON
Festive spirit can be seen on many streets in London. People love to take a night walk around London where Christmas decorations illuminate favorite places giving a new look and opportunities to take some great photos. Patricia and Adrian traveled from Hull for the Christmas Lights couple shoot. They’ve got amazing memories to take home and pictures that will remind them about this day.
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME FOR CHRISTMAS LIGHTS PHOTO SHOOT?
If you’re coming to do the Christmas lights photoshoot in London, be aware that they are very popular. The most famous Christmas lights locations are very busy, especially on weekends. If you looking for a romantic couple photoshoot with Christmas lights you need to think about timing. Patricia and Adrian decided to have a photo session at 6 am. where there are just a few people around and it’s still dark to take great pictures with Christmas lights. The couple felt very comfortable and the feeling of empty streets in the pictures makes the shoot more intimate and romantic.
WHICH CHRISTMAS LIGHTS LOCATION IS THE BEST TO DO THE COUPLE SHOOT?
Usually, I scout Christmas locations in London and give my couple recommendations. But also I ask questions to find out more about them and give a great experience that they will not forget. For example, I found out that Patricia love Harry Potter so I offered them to shoot in Leadenhall Market where Harry Potter was filmed. It is great to choose a location that has meaning to you as it makes better pictures and memories that you will keep forever.
WHAT TO WEAR FOR THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS PHOTO SHOOT?
Make sure you wear warm clothes as it’s going to be cold. I recommend wearing neutral colors like white, black, cream, brown, navy. If you planning to create Christmas cards you can wear something Christmasy. Wear comfortable waterproof warm shoes as we’re going to walk a lot. Dress as you would go for the date in the city. Make sure you check the weather the day before and don’t forget an umbrella. Just in case:)
HOW TO TRAVEL TO THE CHRISTMAS LIGHT LOCATIONS?
There are so many Christmas lights locations around London that it would be hard to see all of them at once. Choosing an area and walk between small streets is a great option as you can find beautiful gems round the corner. If you decide to choose many spots like Oxford Street, Leadenhall Market, Covent Garden, Knightsbridge, etc. The best option is to use public transport. Underground is the fastest option to travel between those places. I wouldn’t recommend traveling by car as you won’t find a parking place anywhere around.
