Summer is the most popular time of the year to tie the knot. Summer weddings have fantastic weather, a great choice of flowers and you can celebrate outdoor long into the evening. I hope you’ll be inspired by this Relaxed Summer Wedding at Stoke Place with lovely couple Siobhan and Liam.
The day started in the beautiful bridal apartment and at Stoke Place with Siobhan, bridesmaids and parents. When I arrived, they were having their hair and makeup done and few toasts with bubbles just before getting in to their dresses. The rooms were spacious with stunning view through the windows out onto the park land. While there were getting ready I saw Siobhan’s gorgeous wedding dress. I knew we will need plenty of space to hang it and the lounge with the staircase was perfect place to do it. It was very busy morning with laughter, emotions, wedding gifts, details and atmosphere of the wedding day.
WEDDING CEREMONY AT ST. TERESA’S CHURCH
When I arrived at the church, Liam was already there, welcoming guests. Few minutes later Siobhan arrived with her dad by vintage car. She looked exquisite in her long princess wedding dress walking down the aisle with a smile on her face. The couple spent most of the ceremony giggling and looking at each other and the ceremony itself was very relaxed with fun moments throughout, make this day even more memorable.
After the ceremony we walked to the church’s garden where newlyweds went through impressive confetti tunnel followed by large group photos.
WEDDING AT STOKE PLACE
All guests travelled by London’s vintage red bus to the wedding reception where they were welcomed with drinks, canapes and lovely music by Two Piece Temple. The wedding reception looked truly beautiful and elegant with huge attention to details designed by Party Squared with floral details by Grace and Violet. The cake looked like art piece created by Lucy Jane’s Cakes in the centre of the room just before entrance to the dining room. Once the food where eaten, speeches were said, the evening celebration began with delicious cake and great music and dancing.
We didn’t have to go far for couple portraits as the grounds were a perfect place for wedding portraits. At the arrival we took few shots while the bus and car were still there. Later, we took some quick portraits inside the venue as I was enchanted by the atmosphere created the room. But the early evening was the best time for portraits as the sun was quite low and the light was great. The lake with a small wooden pier made a fantastic background for the portraits. It would take some time to go around for the photoshoot, but we made the most of it as Siobhan and Liam decided earlier on to have engagement session here. More about their engagement session here.
The wedding was filled with happiness and love with fun and relaxed people. It was my pleasure to be part of their day. It was truly relaxed summer wedding at the Stoke Place. Thank you, Siobhan and Liam, for letting me capture your beautiful day.
